Mon histoire

Depuis l'enfance, j'étais fasciné par les couleurs vives, la lumière qui les traversait et la géométrie symétrique. À l'âge de six ans, je peignais déjà des mandalas sur verre et diverses formes symétriques, le tout dans des couleurs vives et éclatantes.

J'étais également fasciné par la mer. J'ai adoré plonger dans les profondeurs de la mer Rouge, nager à travers les récifs coralliens et regarder les poissons exotiques nager. C'était la même passion. Ce sont quelques-unes des plus belles scènes que j'aie jamais vues.

En grandissant, je suis devenu photographe dans l’unité du porte-parole de Tsahal, après trois ans dans l’armée, j’ai commencé à étudier l’architecture. Au cours de mes études, j'ai appris en profondeur à utiliser les miroirs, les reflets et la lumière dans le design.

Peu de temps après, lors de ma première tentative de création d'un kaléidoscope, j'ai réalisé que c'était ce que je voulais faire pour le reste de ma vie. C'était le point de départ de ma carrière, et ma mission est devenue de m'assurer que d'autres puissent partager et vivre cette beauté. J'ai tout mis en œuvre pour créer des kaléidoscopes abordables, accessibles à tous, et ceux-ci que je vends sur un marché des Arts et Métiers à Tel Aviv. J'ai également cherché à expérimenter et à laisser libre cours à mon imagination et j'ai créé de grands kaléidoscopes spéciaux qui ont été exposés dans des musées.

En 2016, j'ai participé à une convention spéciale de kaléidoscope célébrant 200 ans à l'invention du kaléidoscope, organisée par la Brewster Society. Le kaléidoscope que j’ai réalisé spécialement pour l’exposition a remporté le premier prix du People’s Choice Award.

My Story

Since childhood I was fascinated by bold colors, the light that would pass through them and symmetric geometry. At the age of six, I was already painting mandalas on glass and various symmetric forms all in bold and vibrant colors.

I was also mesmerized by the sea. I loved diving into the depth of the Red Sea, swimming through the coral reefs and watching exotic fish swim by. It was the same passion. These were some of the most beautiful scenes I had ever witnessed.

Growing up, I became a photographer in the IDF Spokesman’s Unit, after three years in the army I started to study architecture. During my studies I learned in depth how to use mirrors , reflections and light in design.

A short time after, on my first attempt to create a kaleidoscope I realized that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. This was the starting point of my career, and my mission became to make sure that others would be able to share and experience this beauty. I made every effort to create affordable kaleidoscopes, accessible to everyone, and these I sell at an Arts and Crafts market in Tel Aviv. I also sought to experiment and let my imagination run wild and have made large, special kaleidoscopes that were exhibited in museums.

In 2016 I took part in a special celebratory kaleidoscope convention honoring 200 years to the invention of the kaleidoscope, organized by the Brewster Society. The kaleidoscope that I made especially for the exhibition won the first prize for the People’s Choice Award.
